Simon grew up in Singapore but completed his law education in the UK. He has practised law in London, Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong, specialising in aviation and maritime financing. Simon has supported the work of REI for over 6 years and joined the Board of REI in 2018. He visited REI-funded projects on the Thai-Myanmar border in 2019.
