On 29 November we are sending out a weekly short story highlighting the “smiles” our support has brought to beneficiaries in the past. We hope the stories will help you to get to know us better AND inspire you to join us in our campaign to raise 500,000 yen and add 20 monthly or annual donors by the end of the year. If we reach our goal by December 31, we will send you an REI New Year’s Virtual Postcard that will surely put a smile on YOUR face this coming New Year!

In recent years, Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become mainstays in Japan. So why not Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is a movement that started in the US in 2012 with the simple idea of encouraging people to do good.
