Have you ever heard of REI’s Light Up the Life of a Refugee Child?

Each year, a concert is organized by children for children that highlights the plight of refugee children around the world. During the concert, students from several schools in the Tokyo area participate and share their musical talent. Previous schools that have participated include St. Mary’s International School, Seisen International School, Junten Junior and Senior High School, and the American School in Japan.

Art and music are important parts of our everyday lives, just as they are for those who are displaced from their homes. You will hear students from many different backgrounds and cultures express themselves through song and dance to support refugee children across the world, and listen to stories of children who were able to restore their lives with the support of REI.

Proceeds from the concert including ticket sales and your generous donations will help refugee children displaced from their homes reach their potential and advance towards their dreams.
